COMMUNICATING THROUGH MUSIC

This workshop was created with the goal of enabling communication through music. We will design sessions that combine songs from different genres and styles. We will explore rhythm, tone, and the emotions conveyed by each composition in order to tell stories and express ourselves through them, blending songs together and learning the main techniques used by DJs. The workshop will include simple, fun exercises adapted to the participants. In every course, we will work on creating a collective session, and as a final closing event, all students will have the opportunity to perform a live DJ set on the hostel’s terrace.

WHO IS IT FOR?

Anyone who loves music and is interested in learning how to mix their favorite songs to communicate through sound.
